    How about make a copy for his records and give the original or copy to the company to pay? I'm not sure what the Workman's Comp process is. I'm not sure if having a WC claims makes it harder to get the next job.

    How about following the advice given and having a lawyer deal with it?

    He needed this right from the start to make sure he didn't get a bill at all.

    Maybe he can send the bill to the driver who caused the injury; they should pay it.
