Did you do any research before you got your CDL?

i knew i would be sent with trainer probably anywhere from 2-3months maybe a little longer and thats fine, Hell I probably will be gratefull for all training time i can get, but what about paying 2000-3000 dollars for this training? That doest sound right to me, how about you?

$2,000 to $3,000 is actually on the low end. Other people have paid as much $6,000.
Judging from your questions, I would suggest that you spend several DAYS researching your new career.

The OP already has his CDL. He will not have to pay for CDL training. What he will have is paid OTJ training where the company will pay him a lesser amount while on probation honing his skills, learning how the company wants things done, while having someone in the truck with him to answer his questions as they come up in the real world, not in a class room. There is only so much you can learn at any school. The rest of it comes from plain old experience. During his probation he can expect to recieve 2-500 dollars a week till he recieves his own truck. Larry, I suggest you pay more attention to what a person says before throwing out useless information.
