I am thinking of going to them because they offered me a local position where I'm home every night, and 2 days off. But then again I heard not so pleasant things about that company. They make you run your whole 14 and little compensation for it. You break it down its like minium wage.
Everyone I talk to that work with JB hunt in CT they go From CT to NY 1200 every week home every night sounds good to me
And this my brothers is a major part of the problem in trucking, people still pile at the door to get into these undercutting POS, only to hang the next guy who is making a decent living. Alot of these big co. figure out later down the line that with private fleets you get what you pay for, but by then it's too late.
Yes , i was on a weekly call bases there for a while ... after i quit working for them ... the terminal manager even emails me wanting me to come back.
I stopped driving in 2012. I have not had a CDL for a few years now. I STILL get emails and until I changed my number phone calls. Most of the time the emails are machine generated and the calls come from a call list. If you are careful and find the proper person most times you CAN get removed from these databases. In my case I can't stop them because people I know in these companies think it is funny to input my email address into the system. I once had a (friend) to put my phone number in one of those internet companies that will send your Phone number to hundreds of carriers. It took me almost 2 weeks to stop those calls. BTW you want to get even with somebody? Pull that prank!
