Started my new authority, got good dispatch says he's gone run me but I need some help with insurance.

I was readin somewhere that the only company will take me is Progressive but that sounds like a bad deal from what I been readin on here.

Can I go any where else? If I cant should I get an agent or should I deal with Progressive direct?

    Any help appreciated thnk ya'll

If you have a "dispatch" why wouldnt you just lease onto a company versus having your own authority?

I'm sure dispatch will tell you everything you want to hear... LOL

    What’s your location?

Sound like you went about the whole process backwards..like I did.

Should have gotten a quote before doing anything else..

This doesn’t pass the smell test. Authority is not valid until insurance is on file. When you start a policy and then the required file with the proper gov agency you don’t get an immediate response.

He paid the fee and got his numbers...that’s it.
Now they need insurance to activate his authority.

Probably Progressive is about your only option. Definately check different agents just as long as they all deal with Progressive. Other companies I checked starting out wouldn't even give me a quote. Some Progressive agents are higher than others idk why.
