Orientation in the morning! I'm excited! And I have a record, that Prime was happy to forgive. It wasn't a felony, but I trust they'll be straight with you. Mine was a misdemeanor, but it's a disqualifying one and they still accepted me. Mine was also about 15 years old. I wouldn't worry man. They'll tell you long before you come out. Just tell them everything, be honest. Show them the man you are, rather than the man you were. Good luck, and maybe I'll see you out there on the road.
Got my pre-hire letter for Prime today!

Well I called back my recruiter this afternoon and was told my application came back 'Not Qualified'. I asked her if there was any reason as to why she told me there we're other more qualified applicants. So now I'm not sure if the road ends with prime here or if I should keep trying to reapply. Any comments or suggestions from some of you Prime drivers/trainers would be great at this point.
-
Just keep applying....everywhere. They could have disqualified you for any number of reasons. Due to liability, almost no company will tell you the exact reason, nor do they have to.
No reason to assume the road ends with Prime. If you really want it, apply to every company you can find. Only after you've exhausted all options will the road come to an end. Sounds like you're far from that.
EDIT: I may have misread. If you're asking about Prime specifically, I'd venture to say that you will not be hired anytime soon. You'll probably have to wait a minimum of one year. Sorry.Longshot64 Thanks this. -
Yes you did misread, I really want to get into Prime's School specifically I did the math it pays the best and also quality training due to it's 1:1 instruction for 3 to 4 weeks. I guess the question I was asking is should I try to reapply in a week, a month or a year. I was thinking of trying again in a month.
-
I don't know exactly how long it is at Prime, but standard in the industry is 6-12 months before they will consider your application again.
-
Longshot,
Your math isn't 100% correect !!!
There are many companies that match or exceed the money that prime pays.
There are many companies that have quality training.
Move on,
there are too many companies out there.......... -
ACTUALLY - You're 100% wrong. At a quick look of all of your posts you're trolling all over these forums, and not just on this thread. Since its obvious you've never driven for Prime, this post for example really doesn't display any usefulness for a new driver. In other words you're just blowing up your ego with BS.
-
But I don't find it necessary to attack people, to defend a company.
The post has some truth to it.
Let's just stick to facts, there's a great idea. -
Yeah, that's a great idea for you to follow.

You have not made a contribution when it comes to Prime. Your posts are either combative or just smart ### comments
You are a troll... you have no dog in this fight but you are baiting and hoping to jump into one.
Looking for an update on a nearly two month old post.
Here is another... looking for opportunities to be a wise ### on a thread that technically hasnt been active since Aug. 1orion3814 Thanks this.
