Got myself a citation for parking. What can I do about this?

I had the samething happen in Virginia. Pull over at the rest stop with 15 mins left on clock. Used pc to get to the next rest stop a hour away. Full too. Parked on on ramp with a line of trucks. 30 mins into my 10 hr an officer gave me a ticket told me to keep movin. Told him I'd already pc'd an hour. He said doesnt matter keep pc'ing till you find a spot. He then went on to start giving the rest of the trucks there a ticket. Next stop was about 30 mins away, a loves, full. Next rest stop about a hour from there. FULL. Next truck stop was a ta about a hour from there. They had some paid parking all in all I used 4 hours of PC!

I understand having to adjust driving times to meet the hours of shipping/receiving joints. But it seems far too many drivers out there like to stick to bankers hours.
