I honestly wanted to go the local route. Haven't got that much luck looling for that.
I graduate in another 3 weeks, and am forecasting myself to go for my road test by Dec. 13 around there.
Although am not really convinced on going Regional, it looks like am gonna have to do just that...
I do like the fact that I'll be done with training and assigned my truck within 3 weeks, am not really sure about .29¢ per mile.
Being realistic about it, I know what I am getting into and that I cannot expect for top of the line pay, but I would at least like something decent and that doesnt send me out to run 5 days and make $650 which I may end up spending 75-100 on food and road expenses alone :S
Chinatown and the rest of the guys, please offer me some guidance as of to where I should be pointing or aiming for!!!!
Got pre-hire from H.O.Wolding but not completely sold...

Funny thing is that according to the address, my school is right next to that company on Moshassuck Valley Ind Highway.
I'll go and find out if they could use another set of hands.
Thanks brother!!Shaggy Thanks this. -
Wow, you basically don't spend nothing.
I am looking into small fridges and microwaves and planning on packing up lunches too
Thanks for the ideas brother!Shaggy Thanks this. -
Very laid back company. HQ in arkansas is easy to talk with. HR L.Pitts and her boss is very understanding.
Forewarned, It's going to take at least 1 month to get the ball rolling, could take up to 3 months until your on the job, then ( 90 working days my AO ) to get into the union.
They are going to do a very intense background check. On your part, expect to do some legwork and verify employers you forgot about.Last edited: Nov 11, 2014

Hey Chinatown.
I recently applied for a "Driver Apprentice" position for FedEx in Northborough, MA.
Its about a 45 min drive for me, but starting at $21 an hr and bumping to $23 after 3 mnths dont sound bad at all.
They are at this point reviewing my app and my school career placement manager says they may take up to 4 weeks to call.
Am just impatient and sort of needing to get a better job right now and too worried about lining a job for when I graduate.Chinatown Thanks this.
