These are the fenders to get if you want them to last. - http://www.minimizer.com/

I looked at those a while back. They were going to be over $1000.00.

The ones I bought were $200.00 for both, and they match my rack:biggrin_255:

If you stay on the highway, those might last a while. The cheap chrome 1/2 fenders that were put on my truck when it was new didn't last long at all. Mounts kept breaking and the fenders started cracking in several places.

The Minimizers I replaced them with are still like new after the same amount of time. I wanted fenders that would protect my truck, not look pretty and fall apart when they did their job.

The minimizers I put onto my truck lasted a year before they broke apart. They don't last as long as you think, especially in the cold weather. -15* and a rock puts a hole right in them.

And if you do order them, don't get them with the lights in them because they do not have a light box on the back, they are just open and tou wind up ripping the wires out and tossing all kinds of mud and gunk on them

If you want something with a little life find some stainless steel quarter fenders, they still will crack over the years but outlast plastic.

I have S.S. 1/4 fenders on my assigned truck right now and they take a hell of a beating.

What I ran, everything else seemed to fall apart or crack faster, plastic and aluminum looks nice until it goes to pieces.

She has SS quarter fenders on now, but the problem is, over half of the front tandem axle is exposed when the trailer is on.

You can see it in this picture. Putting flaps on the front of the trailer won't help either...

Yeah, u need 1/2 fenders if you don't want to bust out that back window with a rock.
