Def stay on top of maint from air dryer cartridge to oil change to def filter and diesel force clean the emmissions...
We are also starting to remove the one box replace doser valve any sensors and send the doc and dpf filters off for cleaning and we aggressively replace find problems early as soon as we get any cel .....anything upstream can cause issues downstream ....
Of course all this costs money ....as the fleet owner I even take class's on emmissions diagnostics became a diesel force dealer in joplin mo and have my own dealer computer....on my list is a wireless diag port reader that will let me do parked regen a and diagnostics remotely ....but hey we buy our trucks with 550 to 600 k on them and knock on wood so far mostly just some scr issues here and there
