Got Stuck! DEF one box for 2017 FreightLiner cascadia.

There’s absolutely no reason you should be replacing the one box on its own unless it’s cracked or broken. And if it’s been contaminated with fuel, coolant, or oil, whatever was leaking needs to be fixed as well. Most shops don’t have the necessary equipment to property diagnose and fix after treatment systems so they just tell people it needs to be replaced.

Sorry nobody I know of is fixing them anymore except maybe the mafia lol.

 

you have no idea what your talking about. One box has part inside which is not serviceable. Those two filters on top you can replace, but the one on the bottom you can not. When it fails ( around 600k miles) , you replace the one box. And there is no way around it
