Has ISX 500. First problem is on the ac. While at idle cools great but under power goes in and out. Freon is good and rad is clean. Next is there is a lot of wind noise on passenger side of cab I cannot figure out where it is coming from. Have went as far as tapein the door jams up but still hear it. And was curious to what the engine temps run. Mine runs between 190 and 220 when loaded it moves up and down a lot. Thanks for the help.

Loss of a/c when moving could be a few things. The ducting may have leak somewhere that is allowing hot outside air to get pushed into the venting system at highway speeds. Evaporators with weak freeze switches will kill the a/c until it warms up, freezing evaporators will also do this by a freeze, thaw cycle. This is usually caused by low air flow across the evaporator which can be due to warped or damaged heater housing, plugged or dirty evaporator, bad freeze switch. If you open the passenger door, under the passenger seat is the whole heater box. There should be plastic door you can remove to get access to the filter. Make sure the filter is clean, most get forgotten or ignored and are totally plugged. With the filter removed you can see most of the evaporator, make sure it is mostly clean.
The wind noise, as baha mentioned, make sure the door is making a proper seal with the weather stripping. Same for the window seals. Wind noises can come from almost anything, mirrors, CB antennas, brackets, anything that can make wind whistle. You might have to just experiment with some tape over joints or parts that overlap each other, or gaps to find the culprit.
The engine will run at those temps. The engine fan will not come on until 207. The temp gauges aren't always 100% accurate. When the fan does come on the temp will come down. As long as the fan is coming on and you are not getting warning lights, everything is ok.

heavyd is right also on mine if you don't run the sleeper fan also the a/c doesn't cool properly also getting to the point of air across the evap. as far as the wind noise check your window seals sometime they can cause allot of wind noise

I can't help with the A/C, but on my prostar, I can see light at the very front upper corner above the wing window, only does it when wind is blowing really hard, and is pulling the top of the door out. The only thing that is apparent is the wind hitting the mirror pulls the top out. Hope this helps
