    Yes. I know. It was a concept in discussion when I retired from wrenching in 2000. Ford was also working on a starterless motor. and a no crank if freon was low.

    Belt tensioner ? I'm throwing that in their because I just had a freightliner have low voltage due to bad tensooner.

    I had the same issue, tensioner bad, no belt squeal at all, I just chewed up the belt and had it snap in the middle of a snow storm in Iowa.
