Sounds like a lot of weeks of 800 net during the winter

 

Talked to one of their drivers. I guess if they are out of time and need to make a demand after a 14 hr day. Don't be surprised when they fudge the logs so you can keep working.

 

Any one know how this company is to work for can u really make 1200 to 1500 a week ?

 

Worked there for 4 years, the owner Paul is a great guy, but he has to many ######## in the office now that look at you as company property and not a driver. It's not what the company once was but 65-75k is average, I was a bit higher then that but I did a lot of Sunday's

 

Thank you do they make u do Sundays they told me sat and Sundays r off I have my kids sat and sun they said I would be off that wouldn't be a problem unless I have to do a pressing salt load on sat ..Is the equipment nice do they run good trucks I will be regional they also said I could get home a lot I live in Verona NY and I am right off the thru way is that true ? its hard to believe companies these days don't know who to trust on there word

 

Depends on where you set in at, It used to be every other weekend you must be available to work, however a lot of sleeper guys that just go back and forth to Ontario county or Seneca are off both days, they mainly have 389 petes with a couple macks and western stars mixed in, less then 5 years old, no APu but you have a bunk heater for winter and let you idle in the summer, fridges and inverters in all.

 

Oh cool were would I haul outta being from upstate ny would they keep me busy around my area ? Over all are they a good company to work for do they keep u busy all yr just hard to find a good company to make a good pay on a weekly basis thanks for all your info so far .

 

They aren't what they used to be but still aren't that bad, they go to Waterloo and Stanley NY landfills (x41, 42) a bit, as well as some down off 17/86, they haul a lot of waste from all over New England and NY, they do stay busy all year though

 

Thank u for that info how are there trucks when u get onto a truck are they fairly clean inside do they clean them up when another driver gets out or do they give u the truck as is thats a big deal for me I hate getting into some one eles mess hate having to clean up someones mess !
