That's just perfect. What a pile of BS. The last EPA demands cut into the MPG by around 20-40% and now they want to reduce the fuel concumption??

Seems big trucks are an easy target.

"WASHINGTON ' Future tractor-trailers, school buses, delivery vans, garbage trucks and heavy-duty pickup trucks must do better at the pump under first-ever fuel efficiency rules coming from the Obama administration.
The Environmental Protection Agency and the Transportation Department are moving ahead with a proposal for medium- and heavy-duty trucks, beginning with those sold in the 2014 model year and into the 2018 model year."

No worries here, and I have NO plans on buying a new rig any time soon!

While running to Chattanooga a short time ago, heard local drivers talking about a EPA fine for speeding. Seems that they figure if your going so many mph above the speed limit, your creating extra pollution. Supposed to be a pretty hefty fine.

Could be... Haven't seen one with my own eyes.
Heard several talking about it, and no on called them on it.
