I keep forgetting to reset my day clock... You have to remember to hit the off duty button, ot for some reason, it thinks your still on duty.

So far, so good with mine also.. It only locked up on me once.. But I think it was because I kept trying to change my setting too fast... LOL

LOL,, One thing you might find, is getting directions from A to B when your too far away from a road... Drove me crazy when I first got it.. But figured out, that getting closer to the road, gives it a starting point..

    A. You're welcome, and thanks for the good words.

    B. Your experience in NYC with it is not unique. I do extensive testing in NYC with several different units and the 510/710 has really jumped out recently in that part of the country as EXPLARARY on it's routes and addresses there.

Had no problem with the Cobra 7700 & 7750 in Chicago.. That's where I usually run, and so far so good.

Do not buy Rand Mcnally. I had to bring two back because the screen freezes. Overpriced, overhyped POS.

How about Baltimore, and Maryland in general. Any ideas there?

I do a lot of Baltimore to north Jersey. It its great. Especially for avoiding toll roads.
