I am curious about everyone's experience using freight tracking software. Do you have favorite features or bad experiences? I hear bad things about Macropoint however they are still popular but other big ones such as 10-Systems or uDrove by Truckstop I don't hear many encounters about them.

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

What are using it for? I think just about every ELD provider has GPS capability. Keeptrucking.com I think has one for 20 per month and FELD by ONE20.com is preselling for 169 with o montly fee. There are a lot of others too. I think if you hold out for a little bit some of these ELD start ups will emerge with some real value add software to separate themselves from each other.

Honestly, it all depends on what kind of information you need. If you want good reporting that you can pull on location, stops, mileage, state miles, etc. then that would be one option. Then there is basic tracking that provides vehicle trails but won't give you really robust reporting.

Full disclosure: I sell GPS / Freight tracking software. Happy to help with any questions you might have about this topic in general.
