Regardless of what anybody tells you,
please use them with caution...They are not GOD !!!! -
Fully understood but I think these days it's always good to plan multiple routes in case of whatever happens out there, accidents, weather conditions construction closure's whatever it may be so I'm just looking to make a smart investment for me and my truck
Everett and thelastamericanhippy Thank this. -
Go to the electronics thread. Allot of info on there.
Also Diesel Boss is on there allot. He owns a shop and does allot of reviews on them. You can find links to his reviews on his posts. Just look around. -
thanks I'll take a look at it right away!

I suggest to only use them for quick reference if you plan your route in advance using a map and asking other driver is the best bet.

i like mine, but yes dont trust it. almost killed me yesterday when i got to ####y/lazy with it. always plan your own route and know where your going, and use it as a reference. this isnt like your car where if you take a wrong turn it can always be fixed fairly easy. you can get in trouble really fast in a truck even without relying on one of these. once you do i promise getting royally screwed is only a matter of time.
