A little tip for those who haven't thought of it already.
That stuff for 'restoring' plastic headlight lenses did a great job on my plastic gps screen.
I don't know if all gps screens are the same but it did great on my PC Miler.

Whats the stuff called?

Lens restorer I guess. There's lots of brands. Heck, VIM would probably work though it might be too abrasive. The one I used.

How do you get scratches on your screen?
Take extra care of it when you have it down and you won't booger it up. They make carrying cases or soft cloths you can wrap it in. That's a lot easier than trying to repair damages. -
All the scratches on mine are from finger nails. Maybe it's just me but I imagine it's pretty common.

I bet that stuff would work great on sunglasses too.

I've heard toothpaste does the same thing. Though I don't seem to get scratches on mine. But I also clip my nails short.

I went to eBay and ordered a bunch of screen protectors for tables and such, I have never had a problem since I use them. They make different sizes, some of them are matted finish 7and may have to trim a bit for a few models.
