those ban's are usually for car type navigation devices. If it is a truck navigation device, check with your safety office.

when your driving down the road all they woudl have to do is look over and see it in your truck
need i go on?
we had a driver get caught on camera cutting off a car 2000 miles from our terminal. when he got back he got fired for improper lane changes and impeding traffic. so dont think just cause you are on the road that your alone. someone is ALWAYS watching. -
Mine is actually on the dash board below the stereo I can use my pinky to hit the touch screen while holding the steering wheel lol. But not to argue.
I think they will get banned soon. Just like texting. The 7 inch displays are ludicrous. Like a flat screen TV hanging from the windshield. I have seen some crazy setups with the giant ones people put them in awful places and block a good portion of the view. Mine is just a 4.3 incher and as I said it is nowhere near the windshield. Stupid people will ruin everything eventually though so I can agree with you to an extent.
Can't wait for the Super Trucker 2000 10 incher to come out with Rainbow alternating LED backlights and a noise toy via bluetooth directly to the CB.
