Now that PC miler has released the Navigator truck route GPS is there any feed back on this product ?

I have a Tom Tom that I use and I also use the Co Pilot I find the TomTom is much easier to use. It is pretty much the same thing in that you still have to use common sense with both of them as so you do not take a road that you should not be down.
PPL use these things as a tool not as something that you follow word for word. When mine gives me a route I compare it to my TRUCKER atlas. I then use the TomTom or CoPilot just to guide me.
It is mainly for letting me know how many miles I have left, telling me when a rd is coming up, giving me an ETA, and other things of that sort. DO NOT FOLLOW THEM TO A T. -
Don't buy the PC Miler Navigator 430 GPS.......

It is a tool to be used, but only wisely. -
Remember folks, you can tell a GPS what roads you want to go on, then just use the GPS to show you info on when those roads are coming up. GPS's are indispensable tools for a driver that travels in any type of vehicle. Like any tool YOU need to know the best way to use it.

i am running a nuvi 650 from garmin and it is great. it has a truck setting on it and have had no problems with it. You can get it cheap online and get a upgrade thru garmin. it is a widescreen and works well, as with any gps you must watch the routing but it has done a good job so far.

I have a nuvi 760 wide. No truck setting that I've found though you can turn off U-turns etc.

only a select few garmins have truck settings. The c330,340 and the nuvi 600's have them and are not to expensive. There are a few others but the price is out of sight.PharmPhail Thanks this.
