    Is it better to use the QC if available or purchase a GPS unit on your own for directions to a destination? I ask because I used to drive from SE Alabama to OKC and back about 3 times a year when I was in the Army. I used a GPS and it made my trip a lot less hairy by way of not having to look down to read a MapQuest print out.

    If you purchase a GPS unit be sure it is truck specific.
