I'm both proud and humbled to report that I've completed Tech School; passed the tests; gotten fingerprinted for TSA; been awaiting HAZMAT approval and watching my mailbox for a hard copy of a Class A CDL with tanker; doubles & triples; and Hazmat endorsements.

Next step is drug testing with my new employer next week with orientation scheduled later in the week. As a newby, I'll then be paired with a trainer and the real work begins.

I'm humbled by the huge responsibility ahead and the amount of trust being offered by my employer. This is an undertaking unlike any I've tried before and strive to be the safest and most reliable driver I can be and would be lying if I told you I wasn't REALLY EXCITED about getting started and making the most out of my new career.

Thank you for any thoughts, ideas and suggestions (including all of the information I've been reading on this site for the past 6 months or so).
