Graduated to a new forum

I haven't gotten a USAA card yet. The wife has one. I spit out my coffee when she told me what her credit limit was.

 

Thanks, man. The ones I've called already (R&L, Saia, Southeastern, and AAA Cooper) all wanted a year of experience. I do need to call Southeastern Freight Lines back. They didn't slam the door in my face, and told me to call the terminal manager after I got my CDL to see if he'd entertain a dock-to-driver program.

 

I talked to the terminal manager. They mostly only hire from within. He said they only hire about two drivers per year (very low turnover); one would be a dock-to-driver, and the other would be an outside hire. Also needs 1 year experience.

But thank you for that linehaul tip. I'll store that away.
