so im attending National Tractor Trailer School, in Buffalo, NY.
i absolutely LOVE it. ive been in for 3 weeks, and have 4 left.
im so anxious and excited to get on the road! :)

so far i have prehires from Roehl, Shaffer, TransAm, Werner, UsXpress.

at this point im leaning towards Shaffer, mainly because
they pay more money, and practical miles. also i have not
heard much negative feed back on this company.

second to Shaffer, i would likely choose Roehl.

anyone have any input, experiences, advice?

one more thing...does Shaffer run Automatic trucks???
i know TransAm does, which is almost a deal breaker for me
i would really much rather drive stick

    thanks!!

out of the ones you've listed USX and Trans Am are the only ones with autos......and you DO have them in the right order!

im hoping shaffer doesnt run automatics. its just wierd that when i pull
up pics of Shaffers lineup of trucks...say on google images, all of the in
cab pictures dont show them having a stick :smt102
    their lineup is.....

    International ProStar
    Freightliner Cascadia
    Freightliner Century

also ive heard that with UsXpress....you have to do a majority
of the loading/unloading yourself? i dono if id be too into that.
of course you could always pay a lumper....but still...
