:biggrin_25520: Greetings to one and all! Happy New Year 2012! I am in Nebraska with my brother who first referred Debi and I to this site when Debi and I were planning to drive for Stevens and this blog talked us at of it!!! I stayed home and Debe went to CR England met Virgil after Steve could not pass the drug test.

    This a update....

Debi left CR England and Virgil and Steve got his CDL from another company Debi hooked back up with Steve at the other company that hauld dry frieght. She and Steve still drive. She was home for Christmas and her home will be paid for in another 2.5 years. All is well.

Virgil still a driver/ trainer for CR England and is still in the Big White Truck. Debi does not hear much from Virgil anymore.

I still do trauma retreats for Christian Woman and have one in CO and one in VA this year. I have a new grandbaby. There really is two of us Debi and Debe.

My brother was a trucker for 26 years. We both are amazed that I can still write on this blog! I thought is was closed down a long time ago.

My brother says keep the dirty side down and don't feed the bears.

    Love in Christ Jesus!

Well, ShuX HowdY and HellO GrandmaDebe.
Happy New Year to you two too.
    Long time, --- No hear.
    What'cha been up to?
    HuH?
    Steve, Stevens, Debe and Debi?
    WoW!
And I thought I was confused before?

    WaiT!
    Don't start yet.
I wanna grab a snack first.

    A "mobile" home, ......... right?

Glad to hear Virgil is still doin' well. If you run into him, ask him to log in here and say hi. If you could mention how much I admire his fortitude I'd sure appreciate it.

I'm thinkin' it's probably best that GMDebi cut communications with Virgil. Ol' Steve might get a tad jealous and start givin' GMDebi lectures.

I remember you mentioned trauma retreats before.
What, exactly, is a trauma retreat?
    Congratulations.
How many grandbabies do you have now?
Pretty soon you'll be Great GrandmaDebe
Folks who don't believe that probably don't believe in Sandy Claws either. Or the Easter Bunny. Or the Sand Man.
    But we know.
    HuH?

    "Was" a trucker?
Is your brother off the road now?
    Are you kiddin'?
    Close down this thread?
    Not hardly.
This thread is a classic and as such it'll remain open 24/7/365. With your continued contributions this thread would only improve. Y'all have developed a following of readers who are anxious to hear more of the adventures of GrandMaDebi, ............ and Steve.
Steve must be quite a guy. I take it they get along well? Or does Debi still jump ship periodically?
We'd also like to know more about how Virgil is doin' at C.R.E. It would be an honor to have him join us in conversation here at TTR. I realize he probably doesn't have a lot of free time available with such a busy schedule haulin' freight from sea to shinin' sea and all across the fruited plain. But if he could squeeze a little break in thar, it'd be appreciated.

Well, ...... By GollY, ..... that's good advice.
Tell your brother right back at'cha.
    And to remember, -------------

It's not important, what is behind you
Only what is in front of you.

    My Lord and Savior.
    Amen SisterDebe.
I pray Jesus watch over you, GrandmaDebi, Steve and Virgil and bless y'all abundantly.
    Sincerely.

    Who's there? :smt104 :smt075 :smt037

I hate to be a prick but who cares about grandma whatever and virgil.... sounds like a darn jerry springer episode...... hope they both choke on their
Geritol. The whole thread is a night mare..... ok because some older person went through training at the worlds worst trucking company and she self proclaimed herself grandma..... the whole thread is a joke...

Are you ready for the punch line?
By submittin' your post, YoU, Crankyazz, have become part of it.
    Ain't that a HooT?! :smt107:laughing-guffaw:

You're right, "who cares" if one becomes what one would "hate to be"?
To each their own accordin' to their desire.

    Public Service Announcement
For those who would rather not read and/or participate in this thread and/or follow the adventures of GrandmaDebi and Virgil and/or Steve, please be advised of a swell feature for those who can't resist the urge to do what they say they don't wanna do.

    It's an "IGNORE" option.
    So simple
Even a caveperson could do it.
    :glasses7::happy3::tongue7:

    It sure has Stranger. :smt045
GrandmaDebe's posts are like cliffhangers that leave me clingin' on for more. I never gave up hope that she'd return, and by golly, she did. And, ...... as usual, ........ I hope she'll be back sooner next time. Who knows how many millions of fans and followers of the Adventures of GMDebi and Virgil are out thar, --- just wonderin' 'bout Steve now.
    :smt017 :dontknow:
We ain't really been introduced to Steve and I'm thinkin' GMDebi fans are curious how those two Big truck truck drivers keep their Big truck's Big truck truck wheels turnin'.

These adventures remind me of another story I read, or it mighta been a movie, but I remember the main characters were this strong dude and a conniving chick who messed him up when she cut off some of the dude's hair, Herk Sampson and D. Liliah, I think they were.
Anyway, I imagine Virgil is the strong dude and, ...... well, .....
GMDebi was his potential Waterloo. That Big truck truck Leasin' Big truck truck driver must have had the patients of Job.
    No!
    Not Steve.
The guy in the Old Testament story.

    Virgil is mah HEErow.
I don't think 'failure' is in his vocabulary.
I mean, Virgil went where many have gone, and failed, before him, --- and seemingly beat the odds against ALL odds. That man's head must contain a plethora of knowledge.

Beein' that we're all just hieroglyphics on a contrasting background here, and as such have no physical appearance, --- I rely on my mind's eye to conjure up an image to go with the names.
    Don't fret folks, --- y'all look marvelous.
But I wanted an image to hang on my wall as a reminder of what Virgil has accomplished and what sacrifices he musta made to git-er-dun.
I found what I was needin' at the 99Cents Only store.
A 3-D effect picture of Captain America commin' at'cha.
    Totally cool!

I modified it a tad to fit the occasion though.
I removed the Captain America name, --- it was just a sticker and came right off, --- got out my Dremel --- with a diamond bit in the chuck, --- and proceeded to engrave Saint Virgil right on the glass, --- directly above where it read Made in China.
Came out rather well if I do say so myself.

    But'cha know what?
I'm thinkin' I should include GrandnaDebi's imagined image, albeit in a different, separate frame. She is, after all, the star of this story. Without GMDebi, ........... this classic story wouldn't exist.
Thang is, ........... I ain't got no idea whar to look for the framed image of GMDebi, ..... or whut it should look like.
    :dontknow: :smt017 :sad1:

    I'm open to suggestions. :help:

    (Be nice)
    :?

Great. Now i'm a part of this thing also.I will admit at first,i overlooked Virgil's successful part in this story. He has,it seems, one of the very few success stories from CR England.Compound that with the misadventure called GM Debi makes it a very rare accomplishment. With him training new drivers his "lectures" can't be that bad with none of them coming here to report such.Virgil definitely has my respect and a free dinner if we ever cross paths.

Now my thought on GM Debi-I can't think of anything good to say when Grandma,God,drugs(Steve unable to pass the test at CRE-now driving somewhere else)and Steve are in the same story. So i'll stop here.Take care.Brian
