This is a warning for those traveling I-5 over the Grapevine, SR58 through the Tehachapis and I-15 throught the San Bernardino mountains...
That area is being hit by monsoon thunderstorms.. they are spotty at this time, but these sotrms can pop up without warning... please remember to be ready for frequent lightening, heavy rain, strong winds, and small hail... And look out for the stupid 4-wheeler who think they can drive in those conditions like it is a normal day...

Believe it or not, I've seen worse than them... you should have seen the roads when it snowed in the San Joaquin Valley in '99! LMAO! That was like watching bumper cars in slow motion!

we made it before this hit... didn't even know it was coming that way... but traffic going NB was backed up due to construction.
Went a little further and saw what we believed to be a hit-n-run. a small convertible, probably a miata went towards the median and then back to the other side, right side of his car was smoking (maybe from tires, it was a blue type of smoke color) and he just kept going. So I am not sure if he hit someone or not. Tried ch. 9 (what a joke) tried warning NB but hell no, nobody has their CB's on. several people stopped on the NB side at the hit-n-run, so I am pretty sure the cops got out there...
glad (heavy sarcasm) we are at the yard, where we had to deal with a security guard who was either slow or smoking something.. anyways, sorry about getting on the soap box...GuysLady Thanks this.
