My neighbor is
driving for Chalk Mountain. I think she's hauling sand.... also not far from Cleburne.
Ok, How many of these Co's will hire someone with NO experience?
I'm going to try and go to school in Ft Worth at Goodwill.... or C1 as a last resort.... would really like Millis, but they're not on WIA's list yet.
The schools in Dallas are a bit too far to drive everyday and WIA won't pay for housing if it's not included....

I have a Nevada Commercial "permit", I am here in Midland, I am going to apply with the big guys... you're saying in person is better huh? I am willing, because the internet app's are a freakin nightmare !!!
I've tried to put one in with Key, but at the end found out I may have been "diverted" to a "Pay me" site !!! How frustrating. -
Anyone know any good oil hauling in texas? Around corpi christi area? I'm sick of nd!
-
Wondering how it worked out?

Just a head's up don't go with Key right now; we are having cutbacks left and right and work at yards all over has fallen off drastically.
-
What is the reason for these slowdowns? I've been hearing about slowdowns in the E.TX. area too.
-
From what I can tell Key's business model was to invest a lot of money into ongoing safety training for employees. They believed this focus on safety allowed them to charge a lot more than the competition. So that led to safe employees driving old beat up equipment. As competition grew Key was constantly being undercut by smaller companies with newer equipment. Key yards are struggling in the Permian Basin and the Eagle Ford. I suspect they'll have to close some yards and regroup.Chibob Thanks this.

Yep...on the bright side, my supervisor has finally been given the go ahead by corporate to lower prices in the bidding process for a couple of large fields near here, so maybe that'll help our yard out in the future. Basic has been coming in and trying to undercut our prices, but the companies we already haul leases for are sticking with us because in the past Basic was constantly letting tanks overflow, etc.

To bad they don't pay water haulers $18. Chalk Mountain is hiring water haulers in Mansfield, TX. for $15 per hour. The pay is too low compared to the cost of living.
