North Dakota is still hiring if you can put up with the boom-town mentality. Drivers start around $25/hr straight time with a CDL and tanker endorsement. Won't say more because this is a Texas thread.

What are the job prospects for a person just out of truck driving school in North Dakota ?

Why are you asking this in a TX thread? There are plenty of ND threads covering this topic.

Hey there guys im a wannabe right now and have been reading alot of bad stuff about trucking around the U.S. as far as pay and over the road time. im 26, no kids, I am living in Tyler texas right now thats about 2 hours east of dallas and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for the east texas area trucking wise. is it a good region? etc... by the way im making about 600 dollars every two weeks at my workplace so my pay is trash right now, i barely make 20,000 a year so most pay is better than that. again, just looking for info and suggestions. thanks

Get your tail over to the oil fields...you can make 3-5 times that much. There is some oil/gas work in your area as well...i'm told.

How about Pleasanton area? or somewhere outside of San Antonio, not looking to drive more than an hour or so to work. Anybody hiring in this area?
