YRC/Yellow has free cdl school. You can apply for school now and after you decide where you want to move to, can transfer to a YRC/Yellow terminal there.
    Here's the terminal in Reno:

That's like looking for a church with a cheap wedding and then hoping that on the Big Day you run into a woman that wants to get married and will be a good match for you. Find the job at the company you want to work for BEFORE going to CDL school, like @lual said. Some companies hire only from certain schools, or any schools with a certain number of documented training hours, etc. Some companies have their own trucking school. About half of all trucking companies that hire newbies also pay Tuition Reimbursement to new drivers in addition to the wages they earn. The difference between the companies that match what you want and where you are and the companies that don't match is night and day. There isn't an AVERAGE trucking company. Once you start trucking school there is not enough time to get the info on companies you need.

My suggestion is either pick the trucking company and then let that job at that company decide where you will live, or pick your new location and then find the best matching trucking company in that place. If you don't know where you want to live you have multiplied your problem from finding a CDL school, which JUST teaches you to pass the state exam, and made your problem "of all the trucking companies in all the cities which one should I pick?"

Colorado doesn't have a lot of freight coming out of it. It has a lot of freight going into it and lots of desperate trucking companies willing to haul any freight for any price. I would consider states with no income-tax. I would then look at a big national map and focus on the places where interstate highways intersect. Those are almost always locations with lots of trucking companies. If you only do a quick internet search you are going to be fleeced and work for a terrible company like CR England. Some trucking companies spend tons of money to boost their online search results because nobody in their right mind, who knew what they were doing, would ever work for them.

This is not a decision to make quickly unless you want to wind up like 80-90% of new CDL drivers that leave the industry before they have 12 months experience. Here's a link on how to pay for CDL school Money for CDL Training

Might want to give some careful thought into what it'll be like up there through the winter, slippin and sliding all over the place, which would you rather humidity, and hurricanes, or freezing cold, and icy fog? Probably why so many choose California I suppose. Some would rather tolerate, Democrats, earth quakes and tree huggers.

Sage Truck Driving school, Fort Pierce.

You will have your CDL in a month..provided your not terribly challenged :)

Moving north? Better not choose Massachusetts because your new CDL is not transferable.

Just so you know, 180 hours doesn’t mean it’s 3 months. 180 hours is likely a 4-5 week program. Lookup the program on the colleges website or call them. My program was a similar amount of hours and was only 4 weeks.
