We are a husband wife team with a 10yr old. We have 2yrs OTR experience and are looking for a small great company where we can take our child with us.
We have clean records, great references, no violations.

We have been on the road, only taking our son with us during the summer months however due to a death that is not an option anymore so we must take him with us.

Anyone know of any great companies that would be a great fit for our situation?

(We currently live in Utah but are looking to move to Montana).

Great life for the kid! Living in a frickin' truck!

Do the world a favor and drop the kid off somewhere where he NEVER has to have anything to do with the pair of you again because you may not be the worst parents out there but you certainly rate extremely high.

Raising a kid in a truck....self centred people!

wow --that is harsh---true but harsh
why take your kid on the road?
one of you should stay home and look after him---parenting comes before driving

Whoee! Brutal! I am so self centered that I decided to give up my company along with $20,000.00 of now debt so I could fall back on a no brainer job and surround myself with well educated marvelous drivers such as yourselves. Im sure all drivers who are paying bills and supporting their families love being away from home....spouse....kids and all.... Yeah! I love living in this situation where my house was seized and I am living in my sisters basement applying to all the low wage companies locally... Receiving calls and letters that all I have will be seized if i dont make enough income. In a perfect world i wouldnt have to rely on driving to provide for insurance for my spouses heart condition. I would go out alone and make less as a solo to break below poverty after seizures. thanks. God bless you this christmas season.

Bean...it's just all of us with children wish for them to have a better life than what we may have experienced. Sure you can home school a child, but they miss out on having friends their own age being in a truck. I'm sure that your child might want to play on some sports team or be in a club of interest. The blow out you recieved I believe was because it appears that you are planning on cheating your child out of a normal life. We wish you the best in your financial situation, but please try and put the child first in all your decisions. Their future depends on it.

Well. Some of you think being in a truck is poor parenting. That a child should be raised in a home attached to the ground in some manner. Who the &$*# are you to look down your nose at someone else like this!

I come from a nomadic tribe. Some of us still remember the traditions. We packed up the entire family and moved place to place, everyone sleeping in the same room. Are now going to say the Tribal children were raised wrong? It's ideas like this that prompted "Christians" to steal the children, ship them hundreds of miles away from home and family, house them with enemies and beat them for speaking their own language.

I grew up in a one-room cabin with my dad and my brother. Are you saying my father wasn't fit to be a parent? Gawd!!

As long as the child is clean, educated (ever heard of home schooling?) and well fed on nutritious food, who are you to say it's wrong! Just because someone else doesn't live the way you want to doesn't make it wrong! How many rich kids with their own rooms and all the junk money can buy end up in rehab and detox centers?

..... *walks away muttering before saying something to get put in the corner for*
