I drove for GreatWide as a team driver and I have driven for good companies in the past but GreatWide is NOT a good company- it has NO terminal managers that have any trucking background and certainly NO people skills- they will steal an O/O blind if you don't watch every settlement

And this is so different from any other of the "big" companies? Sounds like a familiar story line to me!

I don't know...but I always double checked every settlement...just like a check book...even when the company hadn't given me any reason not to trust their figures on MY SETTLEMENT!

I have to agree with parts of what both of you put .. But Greatwide is a bit worse than most big companies.. I check my settlement every week.. and if I find a problem I will go to the mat for my money even if it is as little as a dollar. Then when they say they will pay me.. I am checking the next week to make sure I got it if not we are back on the mat.. But as the original poster said greatwide isn't O/O friendly they think they own the equipment and want you to run what they want you to run and when.. We had a O/o told he couldn't take a vacation this week.. but he stood his ground and took off.. If greatwide would value the driver like they say they do there would be a lot less post about them on these forums.
