    When I go on the load board,there is one titled cargomaster.I never look at it because it has no stepdeck freight.I agree 100% on the "crooks":biggrin_25517:

    I was leased to landstar for about 8 years and there load board was kind of like that.. I never made any thing running the board I had to call those load boards in the truckstop and get back to the agent here in the area . So they could get their cut. Well I did run load board stuff out to cali. ... but had to find my own sht coming back. Btw hope it gets better for yall

    We were also leased to landstar for a short time too,their load boards are a joke,they really don't have half of the loads.It's not going to get any better at GW.The GW brokers under bid each other,what company lets their brokers do that?:biggrin_25514:

    Some of the top brass at GW must have come from Landstar.Lately,it's like they are one and the same.GW hauls more of their freight than they do.Now we've even got Landstar calling,offering loads.It's hurting the O/O at both.If The GW drivers take the load,Landstar keeps 17% off the top and the landstar drivers have lost a load.:biggrin_25512:

    No all the Greatwide big shots are from Fed Ex and UPS.. The problem is they are trying to be like Landstar . When I was at Landstar I had 3 different "agents" call me with the exact same load all of them were quoting me a different rate. all within .30 cents of each other but still the same load.

    I was just looking on the load board in Ut.Two different brokers/agents have the same load,One is paying 1550 dollars more than the other.:biggrin_2559:

    call the cheaper one and ask him why they both have that load posted and why he is 1550 cheaper..

    Call the home office in Dallas.. not sure what the number is but ask for H R.. Let them know.. I know back in the day the V P of the dedicated accounts told us company policy from the shops all the way to the president... Would be fired if they were caught lying to drivers.. doubt they would actually do it but.. heh.. couldn't hurt to ask wtf is going on..
