RV's are not commercial vehicles so say the people that enforce it, cloudy days can still produce power but at a lower capacity, I agree the diesel generator is in my interest as well to include finding shore power locations.

I finally found my first Shorepower location last week in Lee Hi, Pa.
Sometimes I may find a older truck stop with a 110v outlet at the front of the parking spot. Too bad those didn't catch on.

That is great to find, I carry a 50ft cord that will provide sustainable power for my limited needs but the plugs are few and far between.
