Greetings all, from the state of Colorado. I am new to these forums, but am catching on quick! I want to drive a truck, and have been doing quite a bit of research on the various companies out there. Thanks to this forum I now know that CR England, which was one possible choice, is now completely off my list! So thanks for the heads up on that. I'm interested in just being a company driver that offers CDL training and a job afterwards. I'm not expecting to make a lot of money, truly it's not about the money for me. Swift looks attractive to me since they have a Terminal not to far from where I live. Only I'd have to go to Utah to get trained. I don't mind putting up with a little garbage and don't care about home time too much, considering I'd be a new driver. So I'm wondering if Swift would be a decent way to get into the industry? I can't do student loans and money is tight so Truck Driving Schools are out. So can you guys put your .02 cents worth on this? I need all the help I can get.![]()
Greetings From Colorado!!
