Greetings

I've just finished a CDL training course & have placed several apps. One was placed at US Xpress. From what I've been reading, this is not a place I would want to work. Any & all all comments welcome. I,ve also been looking hard at Howard Transportation. Can anyone out there tell me sonething about then?

 

Thanks Chinatown. Howard is the one of the few companys that didn't seem to be blowing smoke. US Xpress recruters came across like the worst hard sell used car salesman pushing his favorite lemon.

 

EPES requires more experience than I have.

 

Thanks sdaniel. I was informed today that Howard has approved my app. All I have to do now is schedule my orientation & Howard is leaving that up to me. I love not being pressured by a recruiter unlike US Xpressure.

 

Here's to all my new friends. I have been accepted at Howard Transportation. I'll be a 64 yr. old FNG skateboarder. Wish me luck. Any advice will be welcome. I can't believe that they are going to send my training driver to pick me up at home. Won't have to spend hours on a bus. I hope all of you will have patience with me as I post as I am new to this form of communicating & I'm not sure how to navigate these uncharted waters & I don't have a cool handle yet.
