Would you say it pays more than heavy haul?

Someone told you that you could make six figures there at Groendyke?! Lol, that is hilarious. I worked for them for 6 months. Wasn't on track to even come close to six figures with them. They are a bunch of cheap skates that are in your pocket for everything, including making you pay for your own uniforms.

I did too much sitting with them. They didn't have the work to keep me moving. And with their stupid layover policy, having to sit 24 hours before getting paid anything, and only up to 8 hours before you give up another 24. I was going broke working for them.

They talk a good game but in the end they are just full of it.

We're you OTR with them? I was personally never told I could make 6 digits a year. I was told that it's realistic to expect about 50k your first year then anywhere from 60-75k a year after that. I May make less than when I was OTR but at least I'll have more time with my family, and better able to take care of my health.

Yes was actually introduced to a couple of drivers that did over 100k last year. They have one guy who made 106k last year and was home every night...hes got a dedicated run though.

In general. As a lot of what is “heavy” has become routine.

    HH has specialization.

    Hauling 17-axle to northern Alberta?

But if you aim at money, you miss. You aim at the job description.

Hey thanks for weighing in...I'm looking at a company called Stone out of Kiefer, they have levels of drivers, They do multiple axle with floats...they start you with triple axle and over width, then progress over months or years to things like this and bigger.
