To provide drivers some information on this company. They are located in northwest Oklahoma and have about 25 trucks. They run as far west as Utah and east into Missouri. They haul most common freight with some beer loads coming out of Denver. They only have forward-facing cameras and do not micromanage. They were polite on the phone.

Inquired about a position but was given those few details and told the recruiter was not in. Called a week later and the recruiter or whomever he is, said he would call back in about 15 minutes but never did. Called again 2 days later and asked again about a driving position and all he stated was information would be on the web-site and nothing else ending by hanging-up. Did not ask my name or tell me if they had openings or anything. So, you can judge for yourself about this company. I will not be calling them again.

I think you can find that in any dictionary, but it is what others think of you/a thing. Hope that helps.

No, we must have been operating before your time if you don't remember seeing us. We ran mostly east of I-35 with a heavy concentration in Texas (Laredo, Dallas and Del Rio) and the southeast, but ran all the way up to Maine on occasions. We also ran a lot up into Minnesota-Wisconson, Iowa, and down into Florida along with a lot of Ohio. There were about 1700 trucks when Mike sold to Swift. Main terminal in Memphis, along with other terminals in Columbus, Oh., Martinsburg, WVA, Nashville, Laredo, and Tupelo and a yard in Richmond, Va.

I been trucking long enough to remember the company. I also know you guys lived up on the east coast. I think it was a stretch to say they had a good reputation. They ran cabovers forever and when they finally bought some FLDs they had little crackerbox sleepers. I see some trucks now called MS freight with a similar logo running out of Grenada MS. I always wondered if that was the Starnes kids?

Well, yes they ran that way, but your looking at around 1700 trucks so you would see them all over. If you went to Laredo, you would see about 30 between Dallas and Laredo. I loved the cabovers as we could get around in them easily and they had air ride cabs and chassis. No, MS Carriers no long exists.
