I'm a Texan.... but I spent enough time there to be an honorary Okie.

That little pond is the reason I used to keep a lite rod & reel in the truck.
    Didn't ever catch anything(other than a buzz).

But I have the coffee mug to show for it...

Lol. Cool. I guess you get what you pay for. I'll have to pick up a couple of those mugs.
@pattyj guessed Big Cabin, but it was for the one in Billings.

Really, I don't stop there much. When I'm in that area, I stop at JJ's exit 106, like I did tonight. Sales clerk comped me a free coke.:Van:

Lake Charles or Lafeyette would be another thought.

But Houston/Baytown would be pretty good. I'll have to catch up on this entire thread.

    La Porte comes to mind.

Im not a spainard, never will be. That makes it San Jacino. 20 minutes to victory. Such as it is.

just cause you used the word Spanish

    Corpus Christi

    Quote:

In 1519, on the Roman Catholic Feast Day of Corpus Christi, Spanish explorer Alonzo Alvarez de Pineda discovered a lush semi-tropical bay on what is now the southern coast of Texas.
