That bear spray looks impressive! Stops a charging bear better than a bullet. And legal!

Since you are asking, I would suggest that you get well versed on all the carry laws. Don't assume anything, NRA is a good place to start. It's all depends on the person and what they feel they need for personal protection.

No federal laws state that you cannot carry a sidearm in a CMV. It boils down to local state laws regarding out of state CWP's, company and customer rules. Very few companies will allow you to carry, and fewer customers allow it. You're better off keeping the sidearm at home. Your best self-defense starts with you.

If you have a carry permit, check out the states that honor your states carry permit. That is where is gets tough, some states honor others some honor no ones. Some states you will get arrested just for having a handgun. There is a lot of good info out there on carry laws, and it does not matter in you are in a CMV or not. Company, facility, and certain state rules will be the hard part to comply with.

www.usacarry.com This is a decent website for info on carrying

I need guns but then I live way out in BFE,I don't carry at work but I have a CCP for off duty and carry a .38sp revolver.
I keep a rifle a shotgun and my 1911 .45 acp handy at the house.
The .45 if someone thinks they need to invade my space, the shotgun also for that and to dispatch varmints.
Never know if you'll encounter a rabid raccoon or something and the rifle if I need to reach out and touch something at a distance or an unruly bear or cougar decides to take up residence at my place.

Handguns are not allowed. Most big carriers allow you to carry one (1) AR-15. Due to recent mass shootings Bushmaster versions are banned.

Only problem with bear spray is spraying it in the cab. A could of that stuff and its like a whirl wind drunkern bar fight. Nobody can see everybody's falling over and the cuts aren't from punches connecting they're from disorientation and falling over and cutting yourself. Parking lot I'd use it in the cab or sleeper not so much
