even still, this is why I’m not replying to this thread, other then I will say most break downs on older trucks are from half ### repairs, you cannot be afraid to spend money

On our gliders with a 60 series its been a/c compressors. They lock up and burn the belt.
The next issue has been coolant lines.. mainly the ones coming from the oil cooler housing. Stupid fitting design.jamespmack, crocky and shooter19802003 Thank this. -
Valve bridge broke on the 99 90 miles from the yard cost 950 for a hook. Had a barrel on the injection pump crack on the 93 50 miles from the yard. 400 tow bill.

Give the older Mack CH's a look. 91-97 were absolutely bullet proof 1 million mile plus engines. Same mpg as a 60 series and easy to work on. 98-03 were solid too. They had cam issues but they've been fixed by nowjamespmack, JoeyJunk, Speed_Drums and 2 others Thank this. -
