Yes they are all the same. The Verrazano and the LI bridges are under a different agency

I was telling my dispatcher that when I first started driving a $200 cash advance would cover the bridge toll, Hunts Point meat market entry fee, lumper fee and lunch at that good pizza joint they used to have there with enough left over to cat scale at Columbia or Bloomsbury andpay to get out of New Jersey over the Delaware river when reloaded.

Not for nothing I was on the cross Bronx Friday and there getting it smoothed out. There are some spots. Bit overall it's way better than worse.

GW is one of the East River crossings. So the Bayonne and the Outer Bridge went up as well. Which is real BS. I'm from the area. And just sick and tired of these a-holes raising these tolls while we have the WORST roads and congestion in the country.

Let 'em raise the tolls all they want. They raise the toll $20, we raise the rates $40. Make the increases work for you, screw all those who get shafted downstream with higher prices.

That's what they want, that's what they get.

I thought the East River ran east of Manhattan and into the Sound, anyway, Goethals is the one we usually go in on, although I have been across the other 2 in both directions and I usually don't get across the Hudson.

The story on the Staten Island tolls raising was to make the seaway navigable to larger ships, in anticipation of bigger and tallerships crossing the Panama Canal since it is being upgraded(or has already been).

I don't know how they can get away with it all the time.I spose the ones that approve raising tolls are just as greedy.
