Depends on the amount of resistance. You're pretty much saying a 60 year old man is better off squatting 300 lbs than solely relying on using his body weight for resistance training.

No your going from one extreme to the next.All I'm saying is what an article that was written in men's health said and to show it isn't all about cardio as a matter of fact too much is bad for your heart as it will harden your arteries and cause a heart attack which is why I say to do both but not to overdue it.

Everyone's body responds differently. Health articles like most articles push the truth. But yeah, regimens should always incorporate resistant and cardio. Both types of training compliments the other.poppapump1332 Thanks this.
