I’m bringing this thread back from the dead. Are you still there? How’s it going?

 

After eight years with H and M I have decided to move on. I have decided to take a local job hauling sand and gravel. I would never leave here for another otr job because in my opinion they are the best out here. I approached management over a year ago and told them I had just paid off my house and was now debt free. They allowed me to cut way back to 21 days out and 20 to 25 days home.
I really enjoyed this but even though I was home whenever I wanted I was still feeling burnt out with the industry. So after almost 28 years in the industry it is time to try something else.
I would still recommend H and M to anybody even though Randy is no longer in charge.

 

Can anyone give me some info on H&M? Cpm, primary travel lanes, how much N.E., forced dispatch, forced NYC. Thanks.

 

Its been a minute since I was there , so pay Im for sure has changed I was there over a year and never went to NYC , New Jersey yes , alot to PA , forced dispatch yes , Primary lanes were 80 70 and 40 I have run from all four corners. When I was there we did alot of Agriculture, Paint , cabinets... I had a great time there a great DM and only left to start my own business back home. Best of luck I hear they are still a great company just new ownership!

I've been talking to Michaela in recruiting and I'm sure they do. I'm in SE alabama. They have a SE regional, but just filled all positions so I'll SOL. Lol I won't go OTR anymore, but regional sounds good.
