There isn't anything that sticks out to me as far as a specific issue for me at orientation. If there was, I would definitely remember it. I do remember A LOT of paperwork. That was my only annoyance. Other than that it's a lot of time out in the yard maneuvering.
Most of the stuff as far as driving for Wolding you will learn with your trainer as for the computer work and paperwork and how Wolding operates.
Well, still going to Eau Claire. After I empty out in San Antonio I head down to Laredo going up to Eau Claire.
H.O. Wolding is a GREAT company!

they cover everything in school

But nothing, definitely not school, can really prepare you for driving yourself. Your time with your trainer is paramount and they know that. I don't think it's really possible to totally prepare for it... But you should be ready to be judged on pretty much everything you do while with your trainer.
I'm sure it's the same regardless of the company you choose.LadyOnyx and bunnyslayer Thank this. -
Thanks Weeble and Timecook. He had his CDLs back in the 90s, but hasn't driven since 98. Betty talked to them today, looks like Gary will pick him up in the truck and take him to WI. So he is glad no bus. Be careful on the road guys!

Called on my broker load from Laredo, looks like the load won't be crossing the border until tomorrow so there I will sit until it's ready. Yeehaw.

Asked to go home for the weekend and might for the next few due to some home stuff going on. I don't plan on it being perminant but I am interested to how possible their home on weekend model is for me.
I'm getting knocked off my schedule by a 350 mile trip that delivers at 8 in the morning. Not a huge deal, it isn't difficult to get back on. Usually. -
You can see if you get on the Clarksville gig temporarily. Good miles but you'll need that weekend off to recover. 11 hour drive days all week and then get a run back home for weekend. I honestly have no clue how anything but the west operates and Clarksville.
Currently sitting 13 miles from Mexico. Border check station going north had a line a couple of miles long. Can't wait.Kutina Thanks this. -

im a bit hesitant to "request" any specific loads given that I'm so new. But, eh... Maybe.Weeble Kneeble Thanks this. -
Close enough, Laredo going to Eau Claire. I quote the broker when I say "that the load hasn't crossed the border yet". Was supposed to load today but that aforementioned reason is why I wait. Lol.
