Had a rough 10 days on the road with my company and im getting let go and need to find a new company

    I Was just fired today for failure to train when I had to get some stuff done, like laundry to pack food to eat, and maybe some rest for today departure at 5 pm MT time. i believe my termination was unlawful.

    Oh cool. A company just south of Chicago. Does that mean you live around here ? If so then tons of companies you can apply to.

    Oops. I knew that but it slipped my mind.

    Apply to all the companies @PackRatTDI suggested. Then call them. Don't wait for a phone call. Companies like people who are hungry for a job.

    I've applied to companies when I started that required 1-3 years experience and I was shocked at how many would hire me.

    Don't let this get you down or that accident. You'll land on your feet in a even better place.

    thanks means alot, i went down to SWIFT( i felt like i betrayed god), but what they had to offer on paper was nice.


    Swift- 4-6 weeks trainers gone 450-550 a week(before tax)
    trainer local- home
    trainer not- be gone in hotel.. $50/24 hrs a day
    OTR- 42 CPM 1100/before taxes weekly
    12-14 days 2-3 home
    100 bonus a week
    Orientation- El Paso Day 2-3 125
