Yeah, something most won't admit to. Low speed is the cure for sure. I had to pick up the front of one with a fork lift them lower the legs. Always check to make sure the plate is flat and tight up against the trailer, handle is in, lock jaws fully engaged. when disconnecting never crank it to the ground always leave it about an inch off the ground. When you back in you want the tractor to pickup the trailer.
