Did this happen today? 6/21? -
I love Winnemucca, Nevada.
If there's a truck stop nearby, go there and make a small cardboard sign, "Trucker needs ride to Nevada."
Stand near the entrance to the fuel desk or exit of the truck stop. Won't take long to get a ride.

Also, call Western Express and ask for a job. Maybe will provide transportation to Nashville, TN.
Phone number is on this website:

When I hauled boats, we usually hauled 6 boats, one of the drivers told a trucker in your situation:
"See that boat right there, don't hide in it while I'm inside paying for fuel."
There's some cool drivers out there that will help you. -

bigguns Thanks this. -
So am I missing something here? Your steer tire blows, and they ditch you? Even if the accident was 100% your fault, they are under federal labor laws etc and responsible to get you someplace safe etc. if you became stranded, destitute and or sick as a result, technically you could have a workman’s comp claim etc.
Drivers need to start standing up for themselves. Many in the two years I’ve been out here, it blows my mind how often drivers are just flat out #### on.
