Zero Hedge has a article on Werner. EPS is dropping and the stock is on hold rather than buy due to a falling revenue driven by rising driver pay (Ive heard this before across the board)

Combine this with Class 8 Truck orders from Pete, Freightliner etc all saying no one is buying trucks right now, there are not enough freight to go around.

Eventually when enough People are kicked out and not enough trucks, rates and freight will come back again. Need a Jubilee or Holiday year to make it happen. Or perhaps a all out conventional war in Europe. I don't know. Maybe Im nuts. But That would be one thing that kicks this Nation back into the money.

Read an article a few years ago that said there are only two numbers to watch and it has rang pretty true. Tonnage and available equipment. The numbers right now aren't as bad as 09 levels but are creeping that way. That is also why I personally don't believe in the driver shortage. If freight rates are down it is because there is more ready equipment than tonnage.
