It was very exciting too.... I am sure you pros have seen way worse than what I am about to show, but this was my first real backup challenge. Check out this pic:

That was a very busy two way street during morning rush hour... On the left side of the pic that you cannot see is a ditch right next to the road. I had to back into a dock into that driveway on the right with another truck already docked. I couldn't figure this one out but a dock worker told me how others did it and when I tried I got it perfect on the first attempt. Anyone see how it can be made? Perhaps not due to the photo but I am curious to see the replies![]()
Had my first challenging dock today lol

Come on up here to Boston, if you wanna real street backing experiences. Every night, as I back off the street, some acehole(s) just have to get around me on my blind side. Good thing for mirrors, I say!
Oh, are you an OTR driver?
Then your Boston days are only ahead of you!
And Washington, DC, Chicago, Detroit, L.A., Miami, etc, etc.
Continued good luck to you! -
Congrats, for some reason the company i work for has a lot of customers with goofy places to back up. Just say to yourself what I do. "this is making me a better driver" over and over and over as your backing in. Kudo's for getting it on the first shot. Now your ready for Cicero Ave, in Windy, at noon.
stay, as always, safe
