I was wondering if anybody has any experience with the haldex 2 piece clutch brake.

I really like the idea of it, because the clutch brake locks itself together when you push in the clutch. To remove it, there is a slot that you turn with a screwdriver (like a slotted screw) and it comes out. No long pins to bang in or cutting or any of that type of thing. It looks like a great idea to me. It looks like it's quick to change if you ever need to.

I don't know how to put a link to it, but there is a PDF that explains how it works if you do a Google search.

    Oldironfan Thanks this.

I USE them a lot because they dont seem to break as bad. A bad driver can break the pin style or the snap style fairly easy. I have only seen a few break the haldex out, they usually break the ears off. I think it seems to be the best replacement clutch brake. To really get them to lock, sometimes you need to push clutch down, then stick a bar over the roll pin and push the clutch again to get it set all the way
